FiberCraze is a Gifu University startup with the world-first porosity technology born from academic research as its core technology.
Focusing on the fracture phenomenon of materials, which has traditionally been considered a “defect” in industrial processes and discarded, we have established the world’s first “nano-crazing technology” to create nano-sized “pores” in materials without reducing their strength. Craze-tex® is a high-functional fiber that has been developed through 30 years of R&D.
Its unique manufacturing process that does not rely on chemicals creates countless invisible “pores” in fibers through post-processing. These pores can encapsulate various functional components such as insect-repellent, antibacterial, and deodorants, thereby adding functionality to the fiber.
Craze-tex®, woven with cutting-edge technology from Japan, will become a symbol of next-generation luxury pursuing harmony with the environment, and unveil unprecedented possibilities in textile innovation.
With the mission to “Create Materials the World Can Be Proud of,” we aim to establish infrastructure materials that can solve social issues and contribute to the development of life and industry around the world through the development of insect-repellent materials that prevent infectious diseases and environmentally friendly, fluorine-free materials.
