The company was founded in 1999 and is a modern biomanufacturing enterprise. It ranks among the top three in China's bio-fermentation industry and holds a leading position in the global lysine market. Eppen Biotech uses plant-based raw materials to produce bio-based nylon materials—EYLON®. The company currently has a production capacity of 10,000 tons of pentamethylene diamine (PDA) and 20,000 tons of bio-based nylon pellets. It holds patented fermentation technology capable of producing bio-based PDA with up to 99.9% purity, bio-based nylon salt solutions, and bio-based nylon pellets in gloss, semi-matte, and matte finishes.
